I’ve recently started having kombucha nearly every day. It started because my gut health levels were low and I heard that fermented foods can make a vast improvement. However, I don’t particularly like sauerkraut of similar food items. Then I discovered kombucha and loved it so now I drink it all the time. I have it morning, noon, and night, so I’m not sure that there is a specific best time to drink kombucha.
For most people, the effects of kombucha are mild enough that it doesn’t really matter when you drink it. However, I believe it’s best first thing in the morning as a way to re-energize and rehydrate your body. It does contain small amounts of caffeine so it’s probably not good late at night.
