Unless you have tested the water, we would never recommend using water you find in a remote area or out in the wild unless you have ensured it is 100% safe to drink. The best way to do that is to use a Legionella testing kit. These testing kits can be a useful way to ensure that you guarantee the water is safe to drink and that it will not put your life or well-being at risk.

If you will be camping, always bring a testing kit. Something as simple as that testing kit can go a long way to ensure you know that what you are drinking is a safe water source and that nothing problematic lurking within could make you ill.
