I am going camping in the UK; should I avoid water found outside?

Unless you have tested the water, we would never recommend using water you find in a remote area or out in the wild unless you have ensured it is 100% safe to drink. If you will be camping, always bring a testing kit. Something as simple as that testing kit can go a long way to ensure you know that what you are drinking is a safe water source and that nothing problematic lurking within could make you ill.
