I would say so, yes. I recently had some new composite doors in Leeds fitted and installed. I used a company called Hipco Yorkshire Ltd, and I was impressed with the quality and thickness. Our old doors were too thick, and they were loud and overly ‘booming’ when we closed them. By contrast, composite doors tend to be much quieter to close over.
They are a great choice for most people looking for the right kind of doors in their homes. Composites offer a good blend of quality, consistency, strength, and style. I felt my old doors stuck out like a sore thumb: these look much better by comparison. It may not be perfect for everyone, but the door I recommend to most people looking to save money.
