Which foods reheat well?

I am thinking of batch cooking and freezing meals to save time in the kitchen and I need some ideas to avoid food wastage.

Most stews and tomato sauce-based dishes freeze and reheat really well. Lasagna, chili, enchilada, chicken pot pie, baked ziti, and spaghetti with tomato sauce are some dishes you would want to cook in batches and they will taste just the same, if not better than when you first cooked them.

Then there are foods that you should avoid reheating. For example, potatoes, mushrooms, eggs, and seafood can possibly make you ill if you reheat them, not to mention that they don’t taste as good as fresh. Some experts also say that chicken might become unsafe to eat when reheated. In addition, reheated chicken tends to be dry.

Meanwhile, some leftovers depend entirely upon the method with which you reheat them. For instance, reheating pizza in the microwave would result in a tough and chewy mess, but reheating pizza in the toaster oven would result in a delicious, fresh-like pizza that is toasted very nicely.
