BitTorrent and how does it work…

BitTorrent is a form of downloading files via peer-to-peer communication protocol. It makes it possible for users to distribute and share electronic files and data much faster and easier. That’s because files and data are broken down or cut up and distributed into several pieces which can be gathered and downloaded simultaneously at high speed. This is what makes BitTorrent an ideal communication protocol for users who want to download large files like TV programs, games, videos, and other forms of digital content.

What sets BitTorrent apart from other protocols is that it lets you share even just a few chunks or pieces of the whole file even without having completed the download of the entire file. This makes it easier for users to get access to hundreds of little pieces or chunks of file all at the same time since other users are also able to share data chunks.

The Pirate Bay is probably one of the most popular websites that provides users access to BitTorrent files. It’s known worldwide but is blocked in some countries and if your location happens to restrict access to The Pirate Bay, you can visit Avoid Censorship to use a pirate proxy.
