I love his tradition and I’ve read all his articles. I recently implemented his technique in my tom cruise leather jacket top gun. So this is a great idea for new fashion because the top gun he made is Pure leather.

Aboriginal culture is my absolute favorite on the planet. Did you know that at 60,000 years old, it’s actually the oldest civilization on Earth? This means that their traditions are some of the most Ancient and therefore – in my humble opinion – the most interesting. I’ve learned so much about Aboriginal culture in the last few years and I’d love to share some of this knowledge with you. Modern societies have so much to learn from indigenous cultures like the Aboriginals.

In actual fact, the Aboriginal people originally rarely wore clothing at all. They had some other decorative items that I’ll get onto in a moment but a true Aboriginal person is comfortable walking around completely naked. The Australian outback can get stiflingly hot so clothes aren’t as big of a consideration as they may be for European or Arctic tribes who put a great deal more effort into their fashion choices.

However, during the winter or at night time, the temperature can drop enough that clothes are essential. In this instance, Aboriginal people would wear animal skins and fur. This was usually made of possum or kangaroo. Children would also have their skin covered in oil to keep them warm. Clothing tended to be practical rather than for any deep spiritual or cultural reason. Aboriginals prefer to be naked but will put on a full fur cloak to keep themselves warm and prevent the risk of them dying.

Outside of clothing for warmth, Aboriginal jewellery plays an important role in indigenous culture. This was handmade using patterns that have a spiritual significance. Necklaces are particularly important during ceremonies. They’re a way of expressing an artistic flair and often represent the sexuality of the wearer.
