Should I buy shoes suggested by a podiatrist or just grin and bear it?
If you have been to see a podiatrist and they recommend you get new shoes, I really cannot recommend enough that you listen. For years I put up with needless pain in my feet simply because I did not buy the right footwear. As soon as I bought some podiatrist-approved footwear, though, I was able to walk for miles without the same discomfort and aches!
For me, I recommend you look to buy podiatry shoes that can give you a nice level of comfort. I found that a good place to check was Pure Envie Footwear. I really liked their range; the prices were reasonable. Good enough that I knew I was buying something decent, but not too expensive otherwise. Definitely, though, you should buy podiatrist-approved footwear instead of just putting up with discomfort.
