Getting stubborn oil stains off your brick driveway sure can be difficult, but it’s certainly doable. Here’s a short rundown of what I usually do to remove oil stains from my driveway.

  • Cover the stain with kitty litter or sawdust and let it sit overnight. Sweep clean the following day.
  • Put some grease-cutting dish soap or laundry detergent over the oil stain and scrub the area with a brush dipped in hot water.
  • Rinse the stained area with hot water. Repeat the process if necessary.

If all else fails, or if you just don’t have the time to deal with the ugly oil stain yourself, you can always call in the pros to clean it up for you. Here in the UK, professional cleaning services are a dime a dozen. I use a company that offers cleaning in Ashford and the surrounding neighborhoods whenever there’s a sizable oil stain in my garage that I just can’t vanquish on my own. If you’re still unable to get rid of the oil stain on your brick driveway, look for local cleaning service providers in your area. Good luck!
