We’ve got some good news! Detroit Hotel Project was selected as a finalist in the Michigan Women Foundation’s Women Entrepreneur contest. We were told it was fierce competition for a few slots and we are honored to have been selected. This means we will spend the summer polishing up our business plan with fabulous women coaches and have the opportunity to pitch a final presentation to a room full of investors, as well as compete for cash grants. It also serves as wonderful validation that we aren’t completely crazy. Starting new businesses is hard work and can sometimes feel like treading water in a wild, frothy ocean. We welcome the aid of these new waterwings. Onward!
