If you’ve been assigned a five-paragraph expository essay for a high school class, you’ll probably spend the write my essay most time on the writing stage; for a college-level argumentative essay, on the other hand, you’ll need to spend more time researching your topic and developing an original argument before you start writing.

There are many skills in life that all adults should know. For instance, everyone should have a basic grasp of how to fill in a tax return. Most people should at least know how to do basic DIY around the house. Being able to swim or drive are also useful skills. However, are any of these really essential? I’m not so sure, assuming you consider the definition of essential to be necessary for human life. First aid, on the other hand? Yes, I’d say that’s essential.

Countless lives have been saved because a person became injured near a normal civilian who had some basic first aid skills. At the same time, many lives have been lost because no one in the situation knew how to act quickly. In certain situations, there’s no way for the emergency services to get there in time. These scenarios happen every day and it’s down to the people in the situation to be able to handle it correctly in order to potentially save a life.

If you don’t have any first aid training, then get some as soon as possible. I know plenty of first aid courses in Melbourne if you happen to live in that area. They’re usually very inexpensive or even free but the information taught is invaluable. In a single day, you can get through all the basics you need to know. It really doesn’t take long to learn CPR or how to stop the flow of blood.

No matter how risk-averse you are in your day to day life, you or someone you’re with could end up injured and these skills may save a life. This information can be taught online but it’s better to do a professional in-person course. Also, remember to refresh your memory on these topics every few months.
