There’s always been the debate on which among the two is better. There are many factors to consider such as your personal preference, your level of expertise, and the overall state of circumstances and environment when you will be shooting.

Target Tamers compares single pins and multiple pins and gives comprehensive reviews and comments on both. In terms of accuracy, singe pin sights are better. With single pin sings, you can use a sight tape and set the sight for a specific distance and this enables you to take advantage of great precision in your shot. Because of the greater precision it allows, the there’s no guesswork required as to where your pin is aiming. That said, single pin is also ideal for beginners. Single pin is also superior over multiple pins in terms of clarity since it provides you with an unobstructed field of view.

The multi-pin however dominates in terms of close-range guesswork and quick use on moving targets. Same goes in terms of covertness since it is designed for efficiency even in limited movement.
