vertical blinds…

First, make sure the blinds are in the open position, and all of the blades are pushed to one side. If there is valence, remove it too. Most valences are simply resting on the blinds’ headrails or are clipped on. If you want to keep the vertical blind vanes, remove them first so they will not get damaged.

Next, remove the headrail. If the vertical blind is mounted inside, the headrail might be screwed directly into the top of the window frame, in which case you need to unscrew it first. If the blinds were mounted by brackets, push on the tab on the back of the bracket to remove the blinds. While pushing on the tab, release the headrail by swinging the back of the headrail down. Afterwards, release the front side of the headrail.

If you’re having your vertical blinds installed for the first time, pay attention to how the pro does it so you’ll know how to reinstall them in the future. You might also want to ask for a removal tutorial. It’s much easier if you purchase blinds from quality stores like https://kbcurtainsandblinds.co.uk/blinds/. They’re a top provider of bespoke blinds in London and can ensure professional installation and removal.
